This
disc contains 170 photographs of the route of
The Lyke Wake Walk, a 40 mile crossing of the North York
Moors from Osmotherley to Ravenscar. Starting at the Lyke
Wake Stone on the outskirts of Osmotherley, and finishing at
the Lyke Wake Stone near Ravenscar.
The photographs are in route order and show the
paths in detail as well as views along the route and from
the peaks. The photographs will show the new walker what to
expect and will be a souvenir for those who have already
completed the walk, and reminder of the pain and the
pleasure of The Lyke Wake Walk.
The recommended book to accompany you on this
walk is 'The Lyke Wake
Walk Guide', which
is the official guidebook of The New Lyke Wake Club.
